Size:
Head circumference: 56-58cm (22″-22.5″), but it is easily adjustable. If you want to change the width of the earwarmer, chain a few more/less stitches in row 1, it doesn’t matter which side you end on. If you want to change the length of the earwarmer, crochet more/less rows.
Finished measurements: 23cm x 12cm (9 x 4.5″)
Abbreviations:
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
BLO: back loops only
st: stitch
Earwarmer Pattern:
R1: Begin by chaining 16. Sc into second ch from hook, sc into each ch across. [15]
R2-55: ch 1, turn, and working into BLO, sc into each st across. [15]
Keep crocheting headband until you’ve done 55 rows, or your length has measured 46cm (18″). Cut the end, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Level Up Earwarmer CAL Part 2
So now, you have your project and it’s 18″ (46cm) long, or desired length for a snug fit around your head. I literally made my second earwarmer 16″ long, because I wanted a snugger fit.
You will now lay your piece down like this:
Now to make your center knot: Lay the right end over the left, covering half of it:
Fold the left uncovered piece over the right one:
Fold the right piece over the left piece, creating four layers:
Now the ends are all folded into four layers like this:
Sew the pieces together, weaving through all four layers:
Like this:
When finished sewing, cut the yarn and weave in the ends. Finally, turn the seam to the wrong side:
And you’re finished! You now have an earwarmer with a knot in the front. 🥰
